Whereas God spoke in Ephesians 2 that we "are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone, in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit"; the vision and mission of Cornerstone Apostolic Church of Decatur, TX, Inc. includes and entails the following:

1. That Cornerstone Apostolic Church will be a church founded upon the Word of God; and this Word of God, with all its doctrines and principles will be preached, taught, embraced, and lived out in the lives of those who attend. That the apostolic doctrines of the oneness of God, repentance from dead works, baptism in the name of Jesus, the infilling of the Holy Ghost as the Spirit of God gives the utterance; and a humble, submitted life unto Christ represented by holy living separated from the world would not just be preached and taught but experienced, embraced and lived by all.

2. That Cornerstone Apostolic Church would be a Luke 4:18 church: a place of refuge for the weary, strength for the saint, healing for the broken hearted, recovering of sight to the blind, those that are bruised can find liberty, and a place of deliverance for the bound and oppressed; where those to whom religion has failed can find true experience and relationship with God and that relationship can grow, mature, and reproduce.

3. That Cornerstone Apostolic Church would be a place of prayer; daily prayer where people find strength, direction, relationship, and power in their walk with God through prayer. "My house shall be called the house of prayer...”

4. That Cornerstone Apostolic Church would be a hub from which the gospel spreads from Decatur to all of Wise County, to all of North Texas, unto the uttermost parts of the earth through personal evangelism, sponsoring of missions both home and foreign and the birth of daughter works throughout the region.

5. That Cornerstone Apostolic Church will be a church where there is unity with the Spirit, unity with each other, as we endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Where there is unity there is anointing, and it is the anointing that destroys the yoke.

6. That the property God has given to Cornerstone Apostolic Church be further developed to provide for sufficient worship, prayer, Sunday school, youth, elderly, men and women's bible studies, evangelism, fellowship, and the furtherance of the Kingdom of God as a whole.

7. That all of Decatur, and all of Wise County and the surrounding areas would know that Cornerstone Apostolic Church is the place where truth is taught, where its members are true Christians, and the welcome and invitation extends to all who desire Bible salvation and life changing relationship with Jesus Christ as the Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!”
